Slave descendant returns to family land

Following the US Civil War, many slaves who gained their freedom acquired land which their family had worked for generations.

Among them were the ancestors of Fred Lincoln, whose family has held onto that property throughout the decades.

Here Lincoln talks about leaving the community he knew so well during the civil rights movement, and what drew him back to preserve it.
