Strauss-Kahn to appear in court after medical examinations

The head of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn has agreed to undergo forensic tests in connection with charges that he allegedly sexually assaulted a hotel chamber maid.

A planned court appearance in New York has been postponed until Monday to allow the medical examination to take place.

Mr Strauss-Kahn denies charges of sexual assault and attempted rape.
