Clinton: Iran morphing into a military dictatorship

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that the US is "not quite sure who makes decisions anymore" in Iran and that the country appears to be "morphing into a a military dictatorship".

In an interview with the BBC's Persian Service, she said that she believed there was a power struggle in Tehran.

She also insisted that when President Obama came to power he had tried to "pursue an effort with the regime", but that Iranian diplomats were reluctant to be seen as associating themselves with Americans.
