Ben Bernanke: US economy is 'dissatisfying'

The US Federal Reserve has slashed its forecasts for growth in the US economy for the next three years and raised its prediction for unemployment.

Chairman Ben Bernanke said unemployment was too high and the economy was ''dissatisfying''.

He also said concerns about the Federal Reserve were based on ''misconceptions''.
