Conrad Murray remanded in custody without bail

Michael Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter by a jury in Los Angeles.

The seven-man, five-woman panel deliberated for less than two days before coming back with the verdict.

Despite having no prior criminal record, Murray was remanded in custody without bail pending sentencing on 29 November.
