Annual Macy's Thanksgiving parade takes place in New York

New York's annual Thanksgiving parade has been watched by millions of people, with many lining the streets of the city in bright weather.

The parade featured more than 40 balloon creations, 27 floats, 800 clowns and 1,600 cheerleaders.
