Obama: Afghan killing of civilians is 'outrageous'

President Obama has said that he has instructed the Pentagon to spare no effort in conducting a full investigation into the killing of 16 civilians in Afghanistan by an American soldier.

Mr Obama said they will follow the facts wherever they lead and that anyone who was involved will be held fully accountable with the full force of the law
