Michelle Obama welcomes Samantha Cameron to the US

Michelle Obama has welcomed Samantha Cameron to the US, saying ''we hope to remember the special relationship our two countries have''.

David Cameron and his wife are in the US for a three-day visit, where talks are expected to centre around Afghanistan.

Mrs Obama also announced she will lead the US presidential delegation to the opening ceremonies for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
