Obama pokes fun at Mitt Romney at White House dinner

President Barack Obama has spoken at the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner and, as is the tradition, joked about a number of public figures.

Mr Obama made fun of his presidential rival Mitt Romney, calling him a "snob" for having two degrees from Harvard. He also made a light-hearted reference to the story that Mr Romney transported his dog in a kennel on the roof of his car.

More than 2,000 politicians, celebrities and journalists attended the dinner, which was held at the Washington Hilton.
