Aurora shootings: Threat not eliminated from suspect's home

Police have dismantled incendiary device in the Colorado flat of the man suspected of shooting dead 12 people at a Batman film screening.

The bomb squad also set off a small controlled explosion in the building to make it safe for police to enter and begin collecting evidence.

FBI Special agent James Yacone said while most of the explosives had been rendered safe in Holmes' apartment, the threat had not been completely eliminated.
