Buzz Aldrin: The aerospace world will be saddened

US astronaut Buzz Aldrin has paid tribute to Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the Moon, who has died at the age of 82.

Armstrong was the commander of the Apollo 11 spacecraft.

He and fellow astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin spent nearly three hours walking on the Moon.

Speaking to Newshour on the BBC World Service, Buzz Aldrin described Armstrong as an outstanding test pilot, and a great spokesperson and leader.
