Presidential candidates trade barbs over their jobs plans

The second US presidential election debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney kicked off with a heated exchange over the candidates plans to create jobs.

Mitt Romney challenged Barack Obama's record, saying ''we have not made the progress we need to make''.

Mr Obama retorted that his opponent did not have a five-point plan, but ''a one-point plan''.
