Hurricane Sandy: Weirdness of having 'nothing to do'

As "super-storm" Sandy batters the US East Coast, New York cab driver Peter Franklin said the strangest part for most New Yorkers is having "nothing to do."

In an interview with the BBC he said, "Of the eight and a half million people in New York city, let's say six million don't have a problem... gee, what are we gonna do?"

An estimated 50 million people could be affected by the storm, and at least five million people across several states are without electricity.
