Bloomberg: New York 'will not be repaired overnight'

Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg has said conditions in the city are still dangerous despite "super-storm" Sandy having left the city's limits.

At a news conference he said the damage done to the city by the storm was "clearly extensive and it will not be repaired overnight".

He told reporters his administration "would move heaven and earth" to help with repairs to transport and energy infrastructure.
