Boston survivor: Blasts 'a horrific scene'
Maureen McGuire Dudley and her husband Dennis were caught up in the Boston explosions when they went to visit their daughter Shannon and to see their friends run the Boston Marathon.
Three people died and more than 170 were injured when two bombs exploded near the finish line of Monday's race.
''We've always perceived this city to be very safe - you should not have to see anything like that, to see other human beings in such peril. It was awful,'' she said.
