26,000 teddy bears invade ice rink during Calgary Hitmen game
Around 26,000 teddy bears have been thrown onto the ice during an ice hockey match in Calgary, Canada.
The annual ritual by fans of the Calgary Hitmen sees teddies thrown when the first goal in the second period is scored. The bears are then donated to local charities.
Ukranian Pavel Padakin scored the "teddy bear" goal against the Medicine Hat Tigers in Monday's game.
