Shoe thrown at Hillary Clinton in Las Vegas

A woman has thrown a shoe at former First Lady Hillary Clinton as she was giving a speech in Las Vegas.

Mrs Clinton, who was speaking at an Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries meeting at the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino, laughed off the incident, asking if it was "part of Cirque du Soleil".

A woman from the audience was taken into custody shortly afterwards.
