New Orleans shooting: 'Heinous crime', say police

Police in the US are searching for two suspects who opened fire during a dispute in New Orleans, injuring nine people.

The shooting occurred early on Sunday morning on the city's famed Bourbon Street, known for its bars, clubs, restaurants and rowdy party culture.

New Orleans Police Chief Ronal Serpas described the incident as "a heinous crime" and appealed to members of the public to come forward with any information or evidence they may have.
