US President Obama: Iraq is 'a long term project'

US President Barack Obama has warned that solving problems in Iraq "is a long term project".

He said it was "going to take some time" to help Iraqis revamp and resupply the military and build support among Sunnis to overcome jihadist-led Sunni rebels.
