Missouri: Father urges calm after teen shooting

President Obama has called for calm in the US state of Missouri after two nights of rioting following the death of an unarmed black teenager.

Michael Brown was shot by a police officer on Saturday afternoon in the predominantly black suburb of Ferguson in St Louis.

Civil Rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton said "to become violent in Michael Brown's name is to betray the gentle giant that he was."
