Ebola: 'Breach in protocol' over Texas case
A Texan health worker who treated Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan before he died has been infected with the virus, preliminary tests suggest.
Dr Tom Frieden, head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said they do not know what occurred during Mr Duncan's treatment but that "at some point there was a breach in protocol".
He told a news briefing "they are evaluating other potential health care worker exposures" because it is possible that other individuals were exposed.
They will now start an investigation into how the health worker became infected.
