Ebola: Hospital mistakes blamed for US transmission

American health officials say a breach in protocol was to blame when a nurse treating an Ebola victim in Texas also became infected.

The Ebola outbreak has already brought parts of West Africa to its knees and now it threatens to worsen.

Health workers across Liberia - one of the countries hit hardest by the epidemic - are planning to go on strike.
