When Hillary Clinton spent the past two months campaigning in support of 25 vulnerable candidates in this year's mid-term elections, the former secretary of state and first lady was always the main attraction.
Half of the Clinton-backed candidates lost - not surprising in a bad year for Democrats - and Republicans pounced on the association, including potential Republican presidential candidate Senator Rand Paul.
