Former hotel demolished in Atlanta, Georgia

A 19-storey former hotel came tumbling down in just a few seconds when demolition experts performed a controlled explosion on Saturday morning.

Crowds looked on and a helicopter crew also caught the sight from the air, as the old Executive Park Motel, which had stood for 40 years, crumbled.
