Ferguson protests: Obama asks police to show 'care and restraint'
US President Barack Obama has called for people who wish to protest against the grand jury decision in Missouri to do so peacefully.
The decision not to charge the police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown has been met with angry protests in Ferguson and around the country.
President Obama called on the police to deal with protests with "care and restraint".
He described the anger at the decision as "understandable" and admitted there still existed a "deep distrust" between law enforcement and "communities of colour" in the US.
