St Louis mayor: "Violence doesn't solve anything"

The mayor of the US city of St Louis, Francis Slay, has said that if real change was to come about in the riot-hit suburb of Ferguson, it would take "all of us working together".

He was speaking after a jury decided not to bring charges over the killing of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown, who was shot by a white police officer, Darren Wilson, on 9 August, sparking protests.
