President Obama: Sony Pictures hack 'cyber-vandalism'

US President Barack Obama has accused North Korea of committing an act of "cyber-vandalism" over the hacking of Sony Pictures.

In an interview with CNN, the president said the US took the attack "very seriously and would respond proportionately."

North Korea has denied involvement in the attack.
