Gretchen Rubin: How habits affect happiness
Unable to get to the office without a coffee in the morning? Or is turning on the television the first thing you do after dinner? We all have our habits. While they may seem to be second nature, it is always possible to change our routines - and it's possible that certain routines can lead to a happier life.
It is a topic that author Gretchen Rubin explores in her new book, Better Than Before. In it, she looks at how we can take action to develop good habits, identify behaviours that may be holding us back from kicking the bad ones, and find a routine that makes us happy.
Ms Rubin joined the BBC's Laura Trevelyan to talk about how we can go about improving our daily lives.
