Footage of man rescuing passenger from US train tracks

Transport officials in Pennsylvania have released footage of the moment a man fell from a subway platform in Philadelphia on Wednesday - and was rescued by a passerby.

Charles Collins jumped onto the track to drag Alfred McNamee to safety.

Officials said Mr Collins had been courageous but that it would have been better to alert officials at the station rather than going onto the tracks.

Alfred McNamee was taken to hospital after the incident. His rescuer had a minor leg injury.
