Hong Kong protesters gather ahead of controversial vote

Hong Kong's government is presenting its much-criticised political reforms, ahead of a vote later this week.

China has said it will give Hong Kong's citizens the right to vote for their next leader in 2017 - but only from a list of candidates approved by a pro-Beijing committee.

Security inside and outside the Legislative Council is tight ahead of the vote.
