David Beckham touched by migrant children's plight

David Beckham, aside from being one of the best-known footballers in the world, has also been the Unicef Children's Goodwill Ambassador for 10 years.

In an interview with the BBC's Laura Trevelyan, Beckham said his experience of being a father has driven him to speak out on behalf of the world's disadvantaged children.

He says the world's leaders should put them at the centre of all they do.

"When you hear children speak and you see the devastation around the world... you don't ignore it."
