Tackling child malnutrition in Chad: Inside a Unicef nutrition centre

Child malnutrition is a major problem in Chad - a country which ranks near the bottom on every global measure of poverty, health or economic development.

The lack of adequate, healthy food is linked to some grim statistics, with one in six children likely to die before their fifth birthday and one in 15 mothers dying in childbirth.

Fergus Walsh visited a Unicef nutrition centre in Chad to see what is being done to tackle the problem.
