S Carolina crowds celebrate as Confederate flag comes down

Crowds have celebrated as the Confederate flag at South Carolina's State House is lowered for the final time.

The backlash against it grew when nine black people were shot dead at a Charleston's Mother Emanuel church in June and the man charged with the killings, Dylann Roof, was pictured holding the flag.

The ceremony was attended by some of the relatives of the "Emmanuel Nine".
