Barack Obama: 'Russia strikes in Syria strengthen IS'

US President Barack Obama has said Russia's air strikes in Syria in support of President Bashar al-Assad will "only strengthen" so-called Islamic State.

Mr Obama said he rejected Russia's assertion that all armed opponents of Mr Assad were terrorists.
