Canada whale-watching boat 'hit by wave'

Canadian investigators have explained why a whale-watching boat capsized on Sunday off the coast of Vancouver Island, with the loss of at least five lives.

Officials said most of the 27 people on board were on the top deck on one side of the boat when it was hit by a wave.

The Leviathan II sank near Tofino in British Columbia on Sunday afternoon.
