US Coast Guard rescues stranded sailors in high winds
The US Coast Guard has winched two people to safety, after their vessel became stranded off the Washington coast in high winds.
A helicopter from the Air Station in Astoria, Oregon, took the sailors to Westport, Washington.
They had been unable to return to port because of safety and mechanical issues.
Their 52ft craft's rudder had also become tangled in a crab pot line.
