US Senator: Cuba political arrests are 'beyond stupid'

For over two decades US Senator Patrick Leahy has been visiting Cuba to try and thaw US relations with the island nation.

He sat down with the BBC's Laura Trevelyan on the eve of President Obama's historic visit and says "it was foolish" for the US to be cut off from Cuba for so long.
