Trump travel ban: Courtroom shows plea to block order

Courtroom footage shows Federal Judge James Robart hearing Washington State make its case, before ruling in its favour to temporarily block President Trump's travel ban.

The exchange with Solicitor General Noah Purcell centred around whether the executive order discriminated on religious grounds. Mr Trump has denied the order is a "Muslim ban".
