Jeff Sessions vows to 'end lawlessness'

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, moments after being sworn in to his new post, vowed to tackle illegal immigration, which he said is a "lawlessness that threatens the public safety, pulls down wages of working Americans".

Mr Sessions was confirmed on Wednesday after divisive congressional hearings, in which Democratic lawmakers accused the former Alabama senator of racism.
