US national security adviser: 'I was in room, it didn't happen'

US National Security Adviser H.R McMaster has denied reports that President Trump revealed highly classified information about so-called Islamic State to the Russian foreign minister.

Speaking to reporters he said: "I was in the room, it didn't happen".
