Fireball lights up the sky over US east coast

Sgt Michael Virga was on patrol in New Jersey when he caught a glimpse of a fireball streaking through the sky. But the police officer wasn't the only one lucky enough to capture the celestial sight - more than 120 reports were sent to the American Meteor Society about the 2 December event.
