First moment of silence to mark 9/11 attacks
The first moment of silence has taken place at the 9/11 memorial in New York City to remember the victims of the attacks on the Twin Towers 20 years ago.
US President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden and former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton were among the crowd who fell silent to mark the moment the first plane struck.
