Crews release and burn toxins from derailed Ohio train
New footage shows crews conducting a controlled release and burn of chemicals from the derailed train in Ohio. Some of the cars were carrying vinyl chloride, a highly flammable and carcinogenic gas that is linked to a high risk of some cancers, according to the National Cancer Institute.
The Environmental Protection Agency is monitoring the air and has found some airborne contamination near the burn site.
