Dust storm causes multiple car pile-up in Illinois

Police in Illinois have said the crash on Interstate 55 involved at least 20 commercial vehicles and 40 to 60 cars.

It resulted in multiple fatalities and more than 30 people were taken to hospital.

According to the National Weather Service, the combination of newly ploughed fields and gusty northwest winds created a dust storm, which reduced drivers' visibility.
