Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev were forced off court for one hour and 40 minutes on Thursday, as a swarm of bees descended on their Indian Wells quarter-final.
Alcaraz was stung on the forehead in the incident in California.
The players left the court before the tournament's beekeeper used a vacuum to remove the swarm.
After the match resumed, defending champion Alcaraz won 6-3 6-1.
