Biden says his uncle may have been eaten by 'cannibals'
Joe Biden has claimed his aviator uncle could have fallen prey to "cannibals" in Papua New Guinea after he was shot down during World War Two.
But the official account of the 1944 incident from military records makes no mention of the plane being shot down or of possible cannibalism.
Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape dismissed the president's comments last week as "loose" talk.
