Trump avoids taking the stand in hush-money case
The defence team has rested their case in Donald Trump's historic criminal trial, choosing to avoid testimony from the ex-president.
Mr Trump faces 34 felony charges of falsifying business records, to which he has pleaded not guilty. It will be up to his lawyers to speak for him instead as they deliver closing statements next week.
