Sweden is using tax incentives to encourage repairs

Sweden plans to introduce tax breaks for minor repairs in an effort to reduce waste and protect the environment.

It is hoped the move will encourage Swedes to fix their bicycles, clothes and shoes instead of buying new items.

Per Bolund is Sweden's minister for financial markets and consumer affairs, and is behind of the move.
