Car insurers adapting to the pandemic

There are 11 million registered vehicles in South Africa and South Africans spend as much as 154 hours per year in traffic, according to the Tom Tom Traffic Index.

Some car insurance premiums have gone up as a result of the coronavirus lockdown measures imposed, but others have been lowering the amounts customers have to pay in order to help out.
