Student backs direct action against tuition fees
A major student protest against proposed increases in tuition fees and a cut in university funding in England turned violent in central London.
Demonstrators stormed a building in Westminster housing the Conservative Party head quarters, clashed with police, smashed windows and got on to the roof.
Emeline Parks, a student from Manchester, made it on the the roof of Millbank tower during the protests. She backed the need for "direct action" against the government.
